About

I am a PhD Candidate in Finance at Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Business, supervised by Prof. Thierry Post. My research is in behavioral and experimental finance, with a focus on dynamic portfolio choice, narrow vs. broad bracketing, and risk preference elicitation.

My current (coauthored) work in progress asks whether people form contingency plans under risk and whether they actually follow their plans after observing returns. I address this question by conducting an online experiment.

Outside of research, I like to play strategic games of Paradox Interactive or Total War series and play Counter-Strike with friends. I’ve also recently been rebuilding a swimming habit after years away from the pool, slowly working my way back to form.
